GizaPlateau.com is a static information website. We do not ask you to create an account, we do not sell anything directly and we do not run our own user database.
Information we collect
We do not collect personal information through the site itself. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write, and we use it only to reply.
Language preference
If you choose a language, your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage so that the site opens in that language next time. It is never sent to us.
Third-party services
- GetYourGuide. Pages with booking widgets load scripts from GetYourGuide, which may set cookies and collect usage data for analytics and to attribute bookings to our partner account. When you follow a link to GetYourGuide, its own privacy policy applies.
- Trip.com. Hotel links open Trip.com, which applies its own privacy policy and cookies.
- Google Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address as part of the request.
- Hosting. Our server and content-delivery network keep standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability.
Cookies
We do not set advertising cookies ourselves. Third-party services embedded in the site, described above, may set their own. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without losing access to our content.
